Scene 2
(A couple of days later...the women walk in the park everyday with their children. Fortunately they see Heath again, jogging by.) Heath - Goodmorning ladies, haven't I seen you here before? Mary - Yes, we're here every morning with the kids. You have a daughter, too. Do you ever bring her to the park? Heath - Yes, on occassion. But I don't like going out around a lot of people. Kathy - Why? Heath - It makes me nervous how people look up to me and and treat me as if I am royalty. Mary - Gee, I didn't know you would feel like that. To us it's like you have everything. Heath - Well...appearances may be deceiving. (and he continues on with his jog)
Scene 3
(Heath's appartment. There are pill bottles everywhere. The place is a mess and dirty. Heath is talking to himself.) Heath - I hate how everyone is talking about me all the time. Why do they think I am perfect? Don't they know that my life isn't perfect? What they see is not everything. This is the end.
(He picks up a handfull of pills and starts drinking them down with whiskey. He passes out and eventually dies.)
Scene 4
(A few days later the women and their kids are at Starbuck reading the paper and chatting) Mary - OMG! It says here that Heath died yesterday and that it was a suicide! Kathy - I would have never quessed that he would kill himself, even though he said that he hates how everyone looks up to him. What a shame!
(The women get up and push their chairs in and leave with their children.)
